APATOSAURUS (Fraud Lizard) Junior Synonym Brontosaurus (Thunder Lizard)                  SIZE: Length 21 - 26m (68 - 78ft). Shoulder height 5m (16 ft). Weight 30 - 35 tonnes
Although shorter than Diplodocus it was 3 times heavier.  Apatosaurus may have been
a solitary forest dweller. Fossils are rarer than diplodocus and less likely to be found with
other members of its species.
